It’s easy to edit your business and keep your business listing information up-to-date so customers can find you. This page should help you run through exactly what you can edit how to view your listing.
Directly from search…
Did you know that there’s a simple, easy-to-access business dashboard right in Google Search? If you’re signed in to your Google My Business account, just find your business on Google Search. From there you’ll be able to complete and enhance your listing, share photos and posts related to your business, and see how many views you’re getting.
When you’re logged into your account…
Google has recently made changes to the Google My Business dashboard and is excited to provide some tips! However, these changes aren’t showing for everyone so be sure to review the points below:
- Choose the listing you’d like to manage from the list at the top of your dashboard
- Click ‘Info’ in the left side navigation bar.
Tip! You can also click ‘Edit’ in the top right corner to make changes to the business information. - Review the information currently displaying and click the pencil icon to make changes
Tip! If you’d like to make an edit to another location, simply go to the left hand navigation and click ‘Manage locations’. This will take you back to your dashboard. - Click Apply and you’re done!
If you’re on your mobile phone…
To Edit your business info on a mobile, download the free Google My Business mobile app (Play store for Apple app store) so you can update business information from anywhere.
To edit your business information on your mobile phone:
- Open the Google My Business app.
- Tap the Menu icon > Business info.
- Tap the pencil icon or the text in the section you’d like to change. Enter your new information in the screen that appears.
- When you’ve made all of your changes, tap Save in the top right corner.
- To delete information tap the X next to the section you’d like to delete, or delete its content using the backspace key on your device’s keyboard.
- When you’ve made all of your changes, tap Save in the top right corner.

Viewing your listing on Maps…
When editing your business page, look for ‘Your business is live on Google’ and you’ll see that we’ve added direct links to view your listing on Search and Maps. You can also search for your business using the business name and address.
Note: It may take a few days for a newly created page to populate in Search/Maps.=
